The Challenge

When Carrington Real Estate came to Prolex Media in early 2024, their social presence was virtually nonexistent. Outside of their immediate circle, almost no one knew who they were. With several upcoming developments soon to hit the market, they needed visibility fast. From investors to trade partners, from potential tenants to city officials, the goal was clear: turn Carrington Real Estate into a name everyone in Winnipeg's real estate space (and beyond) would recognize and trust.

The Strategy

We started by renaming and rebranding them from Carrington Holdings to Carrington Real Estate to provide a clearer connection to their offerings. We then built a long-term social media strategy that focused on:

  • Crafting a distinct content style and tone that would stand out against every other developer in Winnipeg.
  • Showcasing their mission, vision and growing portfolio to build brand trust and familiarity before the buildings even opened or were proposed.
  • Creating ongoing content that positioned Carrington Real Estate’s leadership as bold, innovative and community-focused.
  • Building personal brand equity for the founders, as industry leaders and respected voices in real estate development.
  • Educating stakeholders (including city officials and future residents) on Carrington Real Estate’s design philosophy, quality standards and community-forward vision.
  • Highlighting partnerships with key firms to elevate the perception of their projects.

The Result

Carrington Real Estate has gone from unknown to instantly recognizable across Winnipeg in less than one year:

  • The brand is now perceived as a bold and modern real estate developer actively shaping the future of Winnipeg’s urban landscape.
  • Multiple major investments were secured, driven by content that showcased the company’s growth far beyond closed-door shareholder meetings.
  • Project approvals and city relationships have improved thanks to visibility, transparency and proactive storytelling.
  • Numerous local developers have started mimicking Carrington Real Estate’s content approach, validating the effectiveness of the strategy.

The entire rollout has been powered exclusively by organic social media. No paid campaigns. No shortcuts. Just smart strategy, consistent execution and quality results-driven content.
